Here is a project I worked on with Foley for a Last of Us II video!

In this video I worked with two partners from my school to record all sounds both in studio and outside of the studio to create the dreadful ambience of The Last of Us.

During the process of making this project we used Foley techniques to record and sample all the sounds found in this video. Recording wet gargles and wet towels to create blood splatter sounds and sitting outside in a area of russling leaves created the enviroment that we felt fit the video. As we recorded we implemented each sample into Pro Tools and processed them to fit the scene of the video by adding reverb and or EQ.

Work in Unreal Engine 4

In Unreal Engine I created ambient sound for this enviroment through the use of fire loops and sea waves.

Each fire loop had a multitude of different samples in order to keep each one sounding newer. The sea waves on the other hand are an encompasing stereo mix that fills up the open room in the video.
